Job Title:
Assistant Manager Payable & Taxation.
Reports To:
GM Finance
Responsibilities and Duties
• Responsible for compliance with All tax laws in Pakistan;
• Filing of monthly returns/withholding tax statements of all tax laws in Pakistan;
• Maintaining records in form of supporting documents for all the tax returns;
• Responsible for application of withholding taxes whether income tax or sales tax or services tax
• Maintain and update records of payables along with ageing.
• Reconciliations with parties along with confirmations.
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centres by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
• Pays vendors, employees and others by preparing checks.
• Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Qualifications
CA Inter- 1/2 years of experience
ACMA/ACCA- 3/4 Years of experience
Preferable having experience in the tax department of Chartered Accountant firm
Strong command over MS Office
