DEPARTMENT / PROGRAM: Kiran Sitara Program
REPORTING TO: Program Manager
NUMBER OF POSITION(S): 2
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time Contractual
LOCATION: Karachi, Pakistan
JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will supervise and coordinate all field activities related to the project. S/he will also be responsible for managing resources for field staff, management of field tasks and performance management support for field activities and staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as first point of contact between field workers and Research Associate
- Collect data from field workers and ensure tasks are completed before deadline
- Ensure field equipment is being utilized efficiently and effectively
- Manage field location issues and keep check and balance of personnel on field
- Liaise with school personnel and any relevant government officials to ensure the smooth roll-out of field activities
- Update data collected from field on weekly basis during implementation period
- Facilitate the lead trainer in implementation of all training activities for teachers, students, and community workers - organize and monitor all trainings/orientation sessions planned under the project
- Communicate with the M&E Officer on progress of field activities based on process indicators
- Assist the Program Manager in mapping field activities in schools and communities
- Responsible for reporting any inventory shortage/application issues to Program Manager
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to resolve administrative issues to avoid delays in implementation
- Ensure that documentation SOPs are correctly followed for all project-related field activities, including but not limited to, highlighting problems
- Ensure that all communication and training material is available for relevant stakeholders in the field
- Ensure delivery of supplies required for project at the intervention sites without any interruption or delays
- Receive and compile weekly/monthly reports from all sites and present the data to Project Manager
- Perform other related duties as required
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)
Required Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
Required Experience
- 2 years in health and/or education-related development sector projects
Required Skills
- English and Urdu fluency in writing, speaking and reading
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy and MS Office proficiency
