Description
Head of Finance required in Karachi for one of the leading Financial Institution. CA qualified with 4 to 5 years of experience in Financial institute, preferably AMC and Life insurance must apply
Responsibilities:
- To review monthly management reporting i.e. budget comparison including variance analysis;
- To review monthly, quarterly and half yearly (regulatory return) including takaful accounts;
- To review monthly and quarterly AKFED reporting;
- To review various schedules relating to statutory accounts including premium, premium reconciliation, claims, reserve & reinsurance, commission, sundry receivables, prepayments, advances to suppliers, payable to suppliers and others;
- To supervise overall GL operations function as per SOPs of the Company;
- To review the various Annual Regulatory Returns under the Ins. Ord. 2000, and coordinate with external auditors for their review / audit;
- To liaison with external and internal auditors;
- To review quarterly sales and marketing incentives for onward dissemination to Banca Ops.
- To resolve report related issues in coordination with IT;
- To review various regulatory reporting requirements of SECP, SBP and IAP prior to submission including submission on SECP online web portal.
