Description
Position Title: HSE Officer
Location: Karachi
Nature: Contractual
Responsibilities: - Adopt measures to ensure compliance to HSE requirements as per the contract and avoids penalties due to noncompliance in the projects assigned - Ensures that no man days are lost due to HSE issues - Conduct weekly meeting to make site staff aware of all safety aspects - Coordinate with clients representatives to ensure smooth and accurate flow of work - Attend HSE related project meetings with sub-contractors, clients, project execution team and management
Requirements: - At Least Graduate plus a diploma in HSE/Safety (NEBOSH preferred) - Should have at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience - Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to HSE for construction works - Supervisory skills, planning and organizing skills, customer handling
