Experience:  At least 1 Year of work experience preferably in a customer service environment with experience in managing customer relationships, Event planning, management and Experience of working with children. Knowledge of library management systems

Contract Duration: 2 Years renewable

Pay Band/Salary:  Competitive

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the Head of Libraries and Outreach Services to ensure that library operations are running smoothly and in compliance with Client systems and standards, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, HR, Child Protection and local SOPs.
  • Responsible for line management of local library team, including training and development, recruitment and performance management.
  • Responsible for supporting the wider LDS team with on-going market research to continuously update library collection along with controlling physical stock and storage as per the needs of the potential audience.
  • Responsible for managing KOHA library management system, license agreements and other operational duties (library management, managing financial processes, budget management, managing collection etc.) to ensure smooth running of the library as Clients systems and standards.
  • Supports Head of Libraries and Outreach Services to promote membership concept in their location and proactively engage with members to deliver customer service as per Client standards.
  • Responsible for stakeholder management, create relevant library partner relationships and develops partner and stakeholder network for support of the wider LDS team.
  • Responsible for developing content for the library and potential audiences as well as continuously improving content delivery channels and timelines as per customer feedback.
  • Supports Head of Libraries and Outreach Services to execute and monitor the library marketing strategy, working closely with relevant specialist teams in Pakistan and the region to ensure brand compliance
  • Responsible for creating and managing social media and website content in collaboration with the LDS and relevant specialist teams
  • Responsible for working with the wider LDS team to actively identify potential audience via market research. Responsible for building and maintaining effective communication with them to ensure the needs of the target audience are being met.
  • Responsible for planning and delivering library and outreach events ensuring the right audience is targeted
  • To work collaboratively on the annual calendar of events ensuring alignment to local, country and regional objectives.
