JOB PURPOSE:

The incumbent will be responsible for managing and providing technical support to IRD’s Maternal & Child Health (MCH) team in developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and assessing ongoing and new projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Identify grant opportunities and diversify the funding portfolio of MCH program.

2.    Responsible for researching, preparing, and submitting research and implementation grants.

3.    Conduct field visits to assess the challenges and facilitate implementation.

4.    Prepare and timely submit donor reports for ongoing and new projects.

5.    Conduct individual and collaborative research projects within IRD and its network of affiliated organizations.

6.    Contribute towards the abstract and manuscript writing of existing and new MCH research projects.

7.    Ensure implementation of projects in line with IRD-Pakistan and donor regulations as applicable.

8.    Review and analyze monthly financial reports for MCH projects.

9.    Supervise and manage Program staff.

10. Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
