Hutchison Ports is hiring “Terminal Operations Manager” for its container port in Karachi. The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience and at least 4 years of management role experience in the container terminal industry.

Job role:

Develop tactical strategies and action plans that are aligned with the operating objectives and productivity targets
Ensure all operational KPIs are met to meet customer demands
Drive for operational efficiency and effectiveness
Work as a team with other functional departments and Group’s peers to achieve the BU objectives
Ensure utilization of resources is in accordance with operational needs and continuously reviewing the utilization and needs
Initiate improvements in the operating systems, processes, and procedures and continuously review these to meet changing needs
Liaison with industry stakeholders and represent the company on external committees and associations
Lead, develop, coach the Operations Team members to reach operational excellence
Drive safety culture within operations functions
