I am having a career of above 27 years in Pakistan Army and above 8 years in Corporate Sector. In such a long span of career, I have almost dealt-with every phase of professionalism including Senior Management, Human Resource Management, Administration, Security and Training.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

 

 

 

Summing up my 35 years of service in a nut-shell, it wouldn’t be out of place to mention that I, being an Army Officer and a Civil Administrator, (after retirement) have worked deliberately in different sections of Management. My work experience is composed of Operational Management, Human Resource Management and especially conducting training to mold the individuals’ useful member of the organization. A bird’s eye view of my experience in Pakistan Army is:

  • Planning, Administration, Human Resource Management including training and development, Field Security, Skilled Policy making and Leadership of Operational/Administrative setups.
  • Direct and decisive leadership qualification with particular emphasis on planning and performance improvement.
  • Experienced in recruiting and training the human resource to make and mold it to a conductive part of team.
  • Led a team of up-to 2000 individuals with full responsibility for work assignments, scheduling & performance review and long-term career planning, development and promotions.
  • Appraising the performance and developing training programs with accurate conduction.
  • Security of personnel and to maintain field intelligence to ensure regularity compliance.
  • Security and Event Management on the visits of Senior Officials and VIP Delegations.
  • I have dealt-with the accounts and finance matters in units, including payroll disbursement, budgets, day-to-day and projects base accounts.
  • Dealing with stores, consumables, dry ration, fuel, and other accessories by keeping an up to date inventory.
  • Procurement and contracts management, vendors and suppliers dealing, planning and execution.
  • Carrying and conducting audits.
  • Transport and logistics with fleet mobilization and technical maintenance.
  • Communication, correspondence and coordination.

Besides the experience of serving the Pakistan Army, I have additional work experience of working as an Administrator at a private company, MTBC. MTBC is a multinational firm with its Head Office in New Jersey-USA. Having a glance at my duties over here will make something like:

  • Dealing with the policies and SOPs of two different clauses i.e. Procurement and Administration.
  • Delivering lecture to the employees to make them aware of current security situation.
  • Conducting quarterly training and appraisal of the admin dept.
  • Training the new individual in administration and molding them useful members for the company
  • Looking after the Cuisine services which are being provided on 24/7 basis.
  • Supervising the residential wing and entire building by keeping an eye on day to day maintenance as MTBC is working round the clock.
  • Moreover supervised Procurement, Transport Section, Reception, Admin Accounts, Internal and External Security squad and daily facility usage reports generation.
  • Events Management, arranging seasonal and regular trips and making arrangements for visits of Senior Officials from foreign and the local guests’ visit.
